Member Type Initiation Fee Monthly Dues Description
Introductory $160 - People interested in joining the club may choose to purchase an Introductory Membership consisting of four instructional flights. These instructional flights are the same as those received by a regular member and can be logged towards the completion of a certification. Use the Online Application and specify "Introductory" as membership type.
Regular $400 $40 Regular Membership is the normal case. Regular members fly, pay dues, vote, and participate in the business of the club. All other dues-paying membership categories are variations.
Family $400 $40 Family Membership is the same as regular membership, except it applies to all immediate family members of the same household. There's only one initiation fee and one monthly dues charge per household. It's a great deal!
Student $200 $25 Student Membership refers to people enrolled in school full time. A member's status as a "Student Pilot" is not related to Student Membership.
Non-resident $400 $15 Non-Resident members are members who do not live locally and therefore are not as active as regular members. They pay reduced fees but their privileges and responsibilities remain the same.
Tow Pilot - - This is for power pilots that tow for us, but don't fly our gliders. They don't get paid, can't vote, and can't fly club gliders, except as necessary to qualify as tow pilots. Tow Pilot Members do not pay dues and are not required to join the SSA. But, since we love to fly our gliders, we love all our tow pilots, even those that choose to stay on the powered end of the rope!

Please note that most of our tow pilots hold regular or associate member status.
