  • Phil Chidekel Solos!

    It was a warm muggy day with cloud bases at about 2500'. However, it was calm and visibility excellent. Phil did three good prep flights with Instructor Chris Holliday. Then, after suitable paperwork was completed, the ballast was added and Jack Henderson towed Phil on his first solo flight to a 2000' release. Phil took a second flight, making a total two smooth solo flights to textbook landings on runway 06! Congratulations to Phil for a job WELL done! On hand to witness were Instructor Chris Holliday, Tow pilot Jack Henderson, Bill Jenkins, George Smith and Valerie Holliday.

  • Eric Burn Solos

    Eric Burn soloed today. Roland Martin was instructing and Tom Wilson was the tow pilot. Eric had two solo flights. He was cheered on by Rolland Nakashima, Greg Murray, Kelsie Murray, Jon Martin, Court Done, Phil Chidekel, and his proud mom and dad. Great job Eric.
